A woman (23) has been kicked out of her house along with her two-year-old daughter by her in-laws for failing to arrange bail money for her husband who is a murder accused.

AURANGABAD: A woman (23) has been kicked out of her house along with her two-year-old daughter by her in-laws for failing to arrange bail money for her husband who is a murder accused.
The house in Chikalthana where the in-laws are staying now was built by the woman's father.
In her complaint to the city police chief, the woman said her husband, Shaikh Naeem Shaikh Osman (40), who is in the Yerawada jail since June 2015, has been demanding Rs 2 lakh from her parents.

The woman who has been staying at her father's house said, every time Shaikh is brought for a hearing in court, he calls from from different numbers and threatens her with dire consequences if she fails to arrange the money for his bail.
Police commissioner Amitesh Kumar said, "We have handed over the case to the all-women special investigation team for carrying out a detailed probe into the matter."
Shaikh, along with 11 accomplices, is accused of kidnapping a man from Aurangabad and later murdering him in Pune. Primary investigations have revealed that he had food with the victim at a Dhaba in Pune before handing him over to another gang, which killed him over some dispute.

A senior police officer told TOI that the accused has about 14 serious offences, including dacoity and truck thefts, registered against him at different police stations across the state.
The woman said she was married to Shaikh in 2013 after her parents were told that he was a mechanic byprofession and supplements his income by doubling up as a truck driver. Soon after the marriage, she discovered that Shaikh had a serious offences registered against him.
The woman is pursuing her masters degree in English literature from a city-based college and manages her expenses by giving tuitions.
Assistant police inspector Archana Patil of the special investigation team, said, "Prima facie the complaint appears to be of harassment for dowry. However, a detailed probe, including the source of mobile phones for the accused, will be conducted."
